On the way home
Myself, Alma, Lawdog, Miss D. and Old NFO headed out from Chattanooga on Sunday morning. We paused at an airport near Nashville, where Miss D.'s plane has just had its annual service and checkup, so that she could make arrangements for it to be ferried down to Texas. (She reckoned she wouldn't be the best person to fly it down, being very tired after the hectic - and exhausting - time we've just had at LibertyCon.)
From there we headed northwest to Clarksville, where Beachaven Winery beckoned. Miss D. and I have long been fans of its excellent wines, and we loaded up a few cases to take back to Texas with us. We're overnighting in the town, and will head out early on Monday on the long road back to Texas. Say a prayer for us for traveling safety, if you'd be so kind.
I'll put up a couple of articles to post automatically while we're traveling. Normal blogging should resume by mid-week.

Beachhaven was one of my favorites when I lived in Clarksville. I need to wander down there one of these weekends and see if they still have those tasty fruit wines.
