A free book for your reading pleasure
Fellow blogger and friend in meatspace and cyberspace, DaddyBear (otherwise known as Tom Rogneby) is about to publish no less than three new novels in his Minivandian series - not all at once, of course! To whet the appetite of those who haven't read the first volume, 'Tales of the Minivandians', he's offering the Kindle edition free until Sunday.
It was Tom's first published book. It's a fun read, and I think you'll enjoy it. When it's free as well, what's not to like?
Peter
I shall go forth and download!!
ReplyDeleteThat book just make me smile all over. I'm glad he's continuing to write.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great read! :-) Funny and touching...
ReplyDeletewent to download book, says it is eleven dollars. ???
ReplyDelete@Anonymous at 2:52 AM: That's probably the paperback edition. Select the Kindle edition, which is priced at $0.00 until Sunday.
ReplyDeleteWent back and struggled through the tangle of simplified Amazon ordering with the help of a great customer service young lady. This is a tired Brain Day. again, thank you for telling us about this book. Will begin reading it when doing the laundry tonight.

Some odd word substitutions in my Kindle download - the version seems to have substituted the word "which" for the word "that" in the intro and first chapter - that is all I have read so far; it may be the case throughout the book. Makes it a bit confusing.
ReplyDelete@Phil: DaddyBear has posted on his blog that some errors crept into the download. He's uploaded a fresh, corrected version, which should update automatically on your Kindle. See his blog post about the problem:
