The idle musings of a former military man, former computer geek, medically retired pastor and now full-time writer. The same could be asked about this country...how many named beers are in the US? We went out for supper tonight to a bar as the burgers were only $6 (usually much more) and there were 20 beer on tap alone.
Whoever came up with the expression, "cheese-eating surrender-monkeys" was a genius.
There are a few people living back there who "get it", but most - probably denizens of the bigger cities, just like the cities in many of our states force liberal laws and values on us rural folks - are so detached from reality that they deserve what they are going to get.
The statists who govern France would probably prefer that there be only one cheese (you will like it!)as this would simplify their jobs and allow longer vacations. Kinda reminds me of Mussolini's answer to the question of did he find it difficult to govern the Italian people:"Difficult? It's not difficult, it's pointless!"

ReplyDeleteOn a side note, I suspect there are at least 20 Wines for each cheese!

ReplyDeleteMaybe that explains a lot of the past 2 years?
