. . . let's not forget that politicians - from both sides of the political spectrum - are among the most accomplished liars in the country. Johnny Carson famously poked fun at this in a 1982 sketch, which is as relevant in 2017 as it was thirty-five years ago.

A good one. Carson was a very funny guy. My favorite has to be the "Copper Clappers" sketch that he did with Jack Webb. That one was hilarious.

ReplyDeleteTo reuse an old joke, there is a much easier way to tell when a politician is lying - just look to see if his lips are moving!
