I've often thought that the people who came up with the term "Political Science" coined the term because they knew their subject was pure BS, and desired to give it some legitimacy.
"Political Science" is for the would-be busybodies who can't handle the intellectual rigor of psychology or deliver the honest value needed to be successful at street-corner prostitution.
