Today's award goes to Dutch airline KLM. Their attempt to be 'inclusive' would turn out to be a disaster, if actually attempted. They tweeted this picture in celebration of Amsterdam's Gay Pride event this year:
Trouble is, when it comes to seatbelts, it most certainly does matter who (or what) you click with! As RedState pointed out:
- If you choose rainbow belt combination #1, and the plane you’re in experiences turbulence or something worse, you will be grotesquely injured and/or killed.
- If you choose rainbow belt combination #2, and the plane you’re in experiences turbulence or something worse, you will be grotesquely injured and/or killed.
- The only safe option is rainbow belt combination #3. By connecting the opposite ends of the belt, you will be secured in your airplane seat, and will be following proper safety protocol.
I get the schtick they’re going for, but it is one of the stupidest ads I’ve ever seen for any agenda ... With some things, there is only one combination that truly works. Thanks for proving that, guys!
Insert politically correct "Oops-a-daisy" here!

I keep searching the literature and it isn't there, but by observation so much of the population of earth MUST be sadly addicted to DumbAssamine HCL.
ReplyDeleteThis ad is a great example of the whole movement claiming that biology, nature, and physics don't matter - and it isn't the first time I've seen impossible things presented as normal or good by them.
ReplyDeleteThe time when the whole social justice/ politically correct/ how you feel industry collapses can't come soon enough - and the longer it takes, the harder the fall will be.
Y'See, you are not even trying with the Politically Correct bullets through the foot. Ben and Jerry's have banned anyone in Australia having two scoops of ice cream in the same cone until they pass a law permitting gay marriage. So a Government will buckle under the threat from an ice cream franchise and pass a law that the population (and there is LARGE Muslim population in Australia) does not want, just because if this?

The enstupidation is large in this one ...

So even KLM agrees that the only way to be safe is male inserted into female.
ReplyDeleteQuery... Does anyone know why seatbelt locks are so different in cars and planes? If the ones on planes are superior, easier to unlock for emergency exit... Why don't we use the same design on cars. If counter, then...
ReplyDeleteTake care
What utter stupidity. Words do not describe.
ReplyDelete"Ben and Jerry's have banned anyone in Australia having two scoops of ice cream in the same cone until they pass a law permitting gay marriage."
ReplyDeleteNoooooo problem mon. I can pay the same amount for a whole 2 Litre carton as they want for their 2 scoops. Problem solved. I stopped contributing to their homo agenda a loooong time ago.
Go into their store and order two cones stake them together then drop it on the floor and tell them I don't eat your crap. Then walk out. Simple.
