Talk about leaving yourself wide open...

I note CNN has stated, delicate offended nose in air, that it won't attend President Trump's White House party for the news media.

“CNN will not be attending this year's White House Christmas party,” a CNN spokesperson said. “In light of the President's continued attacks on freedom of the press and CNN, we do not feel it is appropriate to celebrate with him as his invited guests. We will send a White House reporting team to the event and report on it if news warrants.”

The President's press secretary promptly responded on Twitter:

Ouch!  I bet someone at CNN is fuming . . .

  1. Ah, if they're even so much as sending a "reporting team," they ARE attending the party, which means that they're lying even as they say that they aren't going.

  2. Attending would mean "Will dress up and play nice...at least for one night". What they're saying instead is that they plan to squat in the corner like the trolls they are and hope for a disaster they can report on.

I think this would be an excellent opportunity for the White House Press Office to reply with a nicely worded note, explaining that they understand that CNN doesn't want to visit the White House any longer, and could they please turn in their press passes, as all CNN personnel have had their access yanked...permanently.

  3. A year into the Trump presidency and MSM still has not figured out how to deal with Trump's attitude of not caring about their opinions and polls about him. Ms. Sander's tweet is funny.

  4. Now...Rub salt into the wound by filling their empty attendee slots with someone like Alex Jones, or better yet...Art Bell!

    *Snerk*.
