Heh - gravity edition
Courtesy of Aesop, here's a collection of Wile E. Coyote's encounters with gravity, compiled from the Road Runner cartoon series.
It never occurred to me when I was kid that roadrunners don't eat bird seed so all those acme bird seed traps would not work. I have also been amused by the fact that we have coyotes and roadrunners right around the house and they seem disinterested in each other.
Warner Bros. used to do some first-class work, in the day.
ReplyDeleteI grew up on these cartoons, Rocky & Bullwinkle, and Mad magazine.

ReplyDeleteRoadrunners top speed about 20 mph. Coyotes top speed 40+ mph.
ReplyDeleteSpeed x IQ = Success rate.
ReplyDelete;)
One of the great lies we were indoctrinated with as children. A Road Runner can run about 17 to 18 MPH and a coyote can run up to mid 30's in speed.
ReplyDeleteThe other was the government was there to help us.
The most recent lie was that Jeffery Epstein killed himself in jail.
I remember one cartoon where it was revealed that Acme was a Roadrunner Industries company, explained a lot. LOL
