The proceedings in Congress and the Senate in Washington D.C. today will settle the political fate of the constitutional republic that is the United States for the foreseeable future. If, as I fear, Joe Biden is (fraudulently) declared the next President, it means that the election has been stolen by those who don't give a damn about our constitution, our laws, or the will of the people. My contempt for those who allowed them to get away with it is unbounded. If, as I fear, Republican senators cave in to pressure and allow this electoral fraud to stand, I can only hope and pray that it means the end of the Republican Party as such. After such an abdication of responsibility, they certainly won't deserve to endure.
Nevertheless, the fight will not be over. Many of us - tens of millions of Americans - know what happened in November, and we will never accept it. We aren't on just one side of the political spectrum, either. Remember, millions of Democrats voted for President Trump, as well as millions of Republicans. Even though I don't like him as an individual, and think he has many weak points that I wish were stronger, I was one of his supporters last election, because he was the best available candidate. Many of us can say the same thing. We aren't "Trumpers" at all - we are Americans who are loyal to the vision of our Founding Fathers.
So, what can we do to fight back against the tidal wave of progressive leftist politics threatening our nation? How do we hold back the Socialist onslaught?
In the first place, let's begin where we live. As I wrote some weeks ago, "How to respond to the revolution? Remember - 'All politics is local'." In that article, I said:
When a progressive left-wing government enacted anti-Second-Amendment legislation in Virginia, more than 90% of the counties in that state declared themselves to be "Second Amendment sanctuaries", and/or refused to enforce the new laws. Around the country, sheriffs have refused to enforce lockdown legislation and regulations pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic, on the grounds that many of those rules are unconstitutional and overreaching. Higher authority may impose its politically correct laws, but their implementation depends on people on the ground - local people. If those locals know that playing the Quisling on behalf of higher authority will have consequences, they'll think twice about doing so.
It'll take a lot more than that, of course: but this is our starting point. If the house that is our society is constructed of local bricks, building up to regional, State-wide and then national politics, then so be it. Let's start by taking back the local bricks, one at a time. The rest will follow: not overnight, not even in a year or two, but in a few decades, our children will see - and thank us for - the difference.
There's more at the link.
Let's start to implement that at once. This is no time for anyone to hold back and say, "I don't have time to get involved." Our future as a nation is at stake; and if we fail to get involved, we'll have only ourselves to blame if that future is bleak.
That includes making it clear to local authorities - bureaucrats, administrators, law enforcement officers and agencies, and so on - that they will be held accountable, locally, for their decisions and actions. If they know that the people all around them are watching them, and will act to support or oppose them as necessary if they cross constitutional lines, they're much more likely to do as they should, rather than as their puppet masters in Washington D.C. and state capitals tell them. If local District Attorneys try to let criminals get off scot-free or with minimal punishment, they and their staff need to hear from us, loud and clear, that we won't tolerate that; and if a criminal they let go commits more crimes, and puts more lives at risk, they'll suffer the consequences. If they "do unto us", we'll "do unto them" - and not just theoretically, either.
We must do the same to our Congressional representatives and Senators. They need to hear from us, loud and clear, that if they vote to allow illegal aliens to invade us; if they vote to make new States with a built-in majority that will skew US national politics irreversibly leftwards; if they vote to spend even more trillions of dollars that we haven't got; then we will hold them accountable. That can be in political terms, at the primaries and in the elections. It can also be on our streets, shunning them, refusing to serve them and their families, driving them out of our communities. In some parts of the world, that has extended to physically threatening their safety. I hope and pray it doesn't come to that here, but I've seen it often enough in other countries that I know it might.
We also need to establish community structures where we can support each other, and see to it that law and order continue as the norm where we live. If the criminal justice system becomes politicized in favor of the progressive left and against the center and right, we need to take that back in our neighborhoods. If the police won't act against wrongdoers, we'll have to do so ourselves - with appropriate precautions, of course. There's simply no other answer.
Some will object that this is vigilantism. I can only answer that when there is no other alternative, that's what you get. I've seen it happen in towns and cities in more than one country, and it already happens in a number of areas of the USA, where "official" law enforcement is a long way off, or "woke", or unsympathetic, or too busy dealing with other crises. Note, for example, the release of predatory species into farming and ranching areas by the authorities in the name of "restoring the natural balance", or something like that, without consulting or getting the approval of farmers and ranchers. In response, some of the latter have applied the "3-S Treatment" very effectively. That practice is likely to become a lot more common, in a lot more areas.
On a regional and national scale, there's another thing we can do. The current political scene is dominated by the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. They tend to work together behind the scenes, so much so that they've been termed the "Uniparty" by many commenters. Prof. Angelo Codevilla calls them "America's Ruling Class", irrespective of their political affiliation. He pointed out some years ago:
Whatever differences exist within the Uniparty ... get worked out behind closed doors. Those differences are narrow ... The bipartisan negotiators did not let into the room any of the major issues that concern Americans. Not Obamacare, not racial preferences, not religious liberty, not endless no-win wars. The UniParty is unanimous: more of the same!
Hence, so long as the Uniparty exists, mere voters will have no way of affecting what the government does.
Breaking up the Uniparty, means breaking the Democrats’ hold on non- Democrat congressmen and senators. The only way to do that is to break the Republican leadership’s hold on other Republicans and on the Republican label. That in turn requires using the primaries to screen out UniParty people.
Again, more at the link.
I think the time has come to recognize that neither mainstream political party actually represents the interests and needs of "ordinary Americans" any longer. We need a genuine alternative to them, a third party; a populist party that puts America and its needs first. President Trump's political genius was to appeal to all American people, rather than to Republicans alone. He did that so well that millions of Democrats voted for him, rather than for their party's own candidates. We need to extend that, and find a leader or leaders who can put together a party of the "deplorables", the "bitter-clingers", the people who believe in American exceptionalism and want to see it continue.
If we can do that, we have a chance to restore the Republic. If we don't, we'll see a tidal wave of illegal aliens swarm over our borders, and new States established - Puerto Rico, Washington D.C., perhaps the sub-division of existing States - with majorities of voters who'll support the status quo. The combination will swamp our votes, consume our substance, and destroy our constitutional republic. We'll see our constitutionally recognized rights such as free speech, freedom of religion, assembly, etc., and the right to keep and bear arms, shredded.
Our choice is clear. Who will take up the baton and rise to the occasion? Whoever it may be, once their bona fides are clear, will be deserving of our support. We've already had abundant evidence that the Uniparty is not.
We need a new Declaration of Independence. Here's one man's attempt to draft one. He should not be doing so alone. We all need to get involved - and make it happen.

If Biden is installed as "President", voting is no longer relevant, and direct redistance to tyranny has become necessary, in whatever form that resistance may take.
ReplyDeleteThe party process, and voting at a local and State level, may be a valid part of that resistance, but a third party will not do it.
Because the financial and tax structure have been engineered to support only two parties, we will need to take over the Republican party and eject the RINOs.
Where possible, those who can should run for Precinct Committeeman, School Board, and any other local elected office available.
If you can sue the .gov atvany level, or can support those who can do so, do it.
It is necesssry to have a plan and preparations in case the wheels come off, as it seems they will, but also have a plan for resistance if this mess just stumbles forward, as it might.

If you think the ballot box is an effective tool, you're so far behind the curve as to be ridiculous. The wannabe aristocracy isn't even seriously trying to hide the fraud. They're taking it all. Blatantly. And, foolishly, rubbing our noses in it. I don't think that today will make any difference, but we shall see what they do with their absolute final chance.

ReplyDelete@ Scott: "but we shall see what they do with their absolute final chance."
They'll do what they always do: prison rape the citizenry, give 'em a dirty sanchez, look 'em dead in the eye, laugh, sneer "What are ya gonna do about it, tough guy?", the laugh even harder when the citizenry mumbles "I dunno...but something!"
Speak for yourself jimmy boy.

Rethink.

ReplyDeleteKill them.
And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.
