I wouldn't put this past the CDC at all!
The CDC and Anthony Fauci have a major new concern. No it is not a Zombie Apocalypse. It is that Americans might no longer be afraid of COVID-19/Coronavirus. As a result something new had to happen. So together using the partnership with CNN and the rest of the Main Stream Media they plan to start by pushing new diseases with cool names.
Currently Planned Diseases
- Flurona -Really the most obvious to start with and it is already in the news. This is not a new beer or a city in Italy. It is what you get when you combined stupid with the News.
- Carpelrona – Does your wrist hurt? You probably have Carpelrona virus. Go get a test. We are certain it will be positive.
- Coronapox – People who have not had chicken pox or the vaccine can get this double whammy.
There's much more at the link, including some "diseases" that made me laugh out loud. Go read about them for yourself.
With all the bad news that's floating around these days, it's good to remind ourselves to laugh now and again. The Babylon Bee may be the queen of current-news-satire, but Dogfaceponia does pretty well sometimes.
(Speaking of the Babylon Bee, how's this for a headline? "Trump the White returns at dawn on the fifth day with army of Dutch farmers and Canadian truckers." I suspect Tolkien himself would laugh at that . . .)

They tried with monkeypox but word quickly got out as to who was getting it. Turns out the average person isn't scared of a disease that is only caught by sexual perverts who attend pervert "conferences".
ReplyDeleteHad a conversation this morning with my sister in Pennsylvania about her son (19) who spent the night at a friend's house while the friend's sister has the Dreaded 'Rona. So of course, now he has it, and everyone is doing the masks and quarantining thing.
ReplyDeleteThe whole family keeps 'Rona tests on hand so they can be sure they're okay after every social situation. My sister can quote the latest quarantine/distancing rules based on the inoculation status of all parties concerned, and I'm down here in Florida using an old mask as a dust rag and saying "if he feels sick, he should avoid the elderly".
Link is broken.
ReplyDelete@Wayne: Fixed. Thanks for the heads-up.
ReplyDeleteSorry can't waist my valuable time to go read it. Your post is enough for me.
