I'm sure many of my readers have seen it already, but for those of you who haven't, here's a heartwarming video from Turkey. A firefighter there rescued a cat that had been trapped in rubble for ten days. Now the cat refuses to leave his side, and he's adopted it. It's also become the mascot for Turkey's mountain biking team.
I love happy endings like that...

Another strangely dusty room story. I don't know how those kick up the dust - with its share of cat fur in that dust.

ReplyDeleteIt's a pity that the Israeli rescue mission, which hit the ground right after the earthquake and did very good work, had to leave the country in a hurry while there was still a lot to be done.

DeleteIt takes a supremely arrogant and cruel mindset to not only bomb another country from over a third country, but to bomb a nation that just had such a large natural disaster.
Perhaps they were Molotov's Breadbaskets?
