Doofus Of The Day #1,107

I can't embed Twitter videos here, so click over to this tweet and watch the 13-second video for yourself.

Verily, the mind doth boggle . . .

Who taught those idiots to do that?  In fact, did any firearms instructor tell them to do that, or did they figure it out for themselves?

One can only hope they didn't breed . . .

  1. Well it is a technique borrowed from muzzle loading musket days. With handguns, this is a sure technique for a Darwin Award.

  3. Operator Wannabees. Like Clint said. "A man's got to know his limitations." Those two don't know theirs so they surpassed them.

  4. Coupla guys I used to work with had a buddy who ran a "training ranch" nearby. Constantly trying to get the rest of us to join them for a weekend class. They thought this guy was All That. Part of his training was to have one of you hold out a target while the other shot it, "to get you used to being shot at." This was supposed to help you get over the shock before being in a real gunfight. I told them they were idiots for going along with this, and lucky no one got shot. No amount of discussion could sway them from their enthusiasm.

  5. More highly trained members of Meal Team. I would love to hear their explanation of what inspired that.
