It started with a very mild sore throat on Monday, and by yesterday had progressed to a fever and congestion in my head and chest. Whatever this summer crud is, it's not fun.
I won't be posting any more today. I'm just too under the weather to be my usual smiling, happy, joy-joy self. (Stop sneering, you at the back!) Hopefully, things will return to normal by tomorrow.
Meanwhile, please enjoy yourselves with the bloggers listed in the sidebar. They write good, too!

Back to bed with ya!
ReplyDeleteHot teas, a whole lot of good homemade chicken soup cooled with kimchee (don't cook the kimchee) and some rest.
My personal cure when the "I wanna die" bug bites me.
I don't mess around with "little crud" anymore with all the weird 3rd world crap showing up in my ER now a days.
Take care!
ReplyDeleteCurrently getting over that myself, though I think it came in from my kids. Take a day or two off.
ReplyDeleteThat's what happens when you buy the Bud Light because it is cheap.
ReplyDeleteIvermectin all night long.
ReplyDeleteWe do care, we are just snickering in the back row, just a little bit. Get better. Take your vitamins, eat chicken soup.
ReplyDeleteChicken soup for you and keep pushing fluids.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon! God bless.
ReplyDeleteGinger Tea. Lots of fluids.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteGood thoughts to you.
ReplyDelete@B re Bud Light. ROFL!
ReplyDeleteCondolences and Best Wishes.
ReplyDeleteSome jackhole at work came in sick and nailed 4 of us with the same thing.
Saturday had an art reception. Guy came in with his n95 duckface. Said he had the covid. Mask was sure effective. Monday I had 101 fever. By Monday night over 102. Took IVM/Zinc/D3. Useless as that n95 duckface mask. Yesterday Doc prescribed the Paxlovid. That is some seriously nasty industrial strength chemical warfare. But this morning the fever is gone. Four more days of the pills.

Get better Peter!
