Er . . . oops?

It seems that "16 vessels of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, including an IRGC spy ship aiding Houthi operations, sustained significant damage after reported explosions".  No word on exactly where it happened, except that the report came from Iran.  From the smoke and flames, I suspect they won't be going anywhere soon.

Funny how little oopsies like that happen . . .

  3. This could really get bad with 4th gen warfare. Matt Bracken is sounding the alarm over the invasion on our southern border. Though he mostly talks about AKs and ammo, those containers could also have all sorts of missiles and rockets and explosives......

On a better note, I saw you live in one of my old stomping grounds. This site has a load of interesting material about the history. A bit hard to use, but interesting history. I like to use it to "get away" from the news in the evening before bed. Ken

  6. When I was younger I would have used a less politically correct term related to a slang term relating to the racial identities of the people who 'Mauied' at Pearl Harbor.

But I have mellowed in my age... maybe.

  8. Funny how blowback happens, both directions that is.

Wonder how long before civilian targets inside America have "oopses"?

That should keep us amused for days, weeks, maybe years as transformers come from ah, CHINA? As well as way too much of our water purification and sewage treatment equipment.

How many days before bad water is a "Problem"? 3?

Interesting times when you have a "President" that is weaker than the Peanut Farmer.

  9. You might want to check the Twitter Community notes and comments further down before doing the Hilary Clinton Cackle about killing dogs in fights between various alien peoples you shouldn't have a dog in.

Should the USA get involved with Iran in a big way, I'm sure you'll enjoy waiting for your replacement substation transformers and gas pipeline valves (do I need to talk about lead time and how nobody has warehouses stacked with these items) to wend their merry ways from deepest darkest China so that you can get the lights and heat back on.

Frankly, I'd be on my knees praying things don't escalate.

  10. There are legitimate questions about the accuracy of this report. It may be BS, propaganda, an outright fabrication.

  17. The report seems fake.
There are no reports of an explosion of Iranian IRGC ships.
The video shows a fire that broke in Qeshm Island in Iran, resulting in 9 burnt barges.
