A betrayal of American voters by the US Senate

 

I sometimes have reservations about some of the views expressed by The Good Citizen.  He can make a whole lot of sense, but at other times seems to have wandered off into Cloud Cuckoo Land.  Despite that, his latest Substack post resonates with me.  Here's an excerpt.

Have you seen the latest bipartisan Senate bill for Ukraine, Israel, and the border? It reads as if it was written in Kyiv, then sent to Tel Aviv, then emailed to the ghost of Count Richard Von Cudenhove-Kalergi, then sent by carrier pigeon to Frances Fox Piven to put some final touches on it as the ghost of her husband Richard Cloward smiled over her shoulder.

Legalizing 1.5 million illegal border crossings per year is now bipartisan Senate legislation. The bill calls for $60 billion more for the Poison Dwarf to kill off the remaining men of Ukraine with the average age of front-line soldiers now 44 who are fighting alongside young Ukrainian women. At this rate, there will be no people in Ukraine by 2032. Crops will be harvested by robot combines and ethnic cleansing of Russians in the east will be done by drones remote-controlled from Empire outposts in Germany.

Of course, no bill would be bipartisan without more taxpayer looting for their paymasters in Israel. From 1949-2009 the total direct funding from the United States to Israel was $110 Billion. Adjusted for inflation over the years it amounts to half a trillion dollars today. This excludes the $10 Trillion the U.S. has spent on wars of benefit for Israel in Libya, Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan, induced by Israel’s first 9-11 to kick off the War on Terror and openly called for by Netanyahu at the UN in 2002 and in Congress the same year where he scared Americans into believing that a nuclear missile hitting DC or New York from Iraq or Iran was just six months away.

Under a push by new Israel-First Republican House speaker Mike Johnson (it’s why he was chosen) another $17 Billion is being authorized in direct aid in addition to the $15 Billion already sent in October.

Much of it will be laundered back to the reelection coffers of the very people who pass these funding bills via defense contractor lobbyists in the United States, plus the single Political Action Committee that controls nearly every Politico in the District of Corruption-AIPAC.

Israel’s main bribery arm AIPAC has a 96% success rate in (s)electing American politicians. Not even Sadaam Hussein was that good in Iraqi “elections.”

I certainly agree with him about the kickbacks and money-laundering from Ukraine to the US legislative and executive branches.  As Sundance pointed out a couple of years ago (and we mentioned at the time):

In the bigger picture I don’t think many Americans outside the DC beltway give a flip about internal Ukrainian squabbles and Russia’s support for the Eastern Ukrainian independence effort.  However, inside the DC beltway Ukraine is very important, stunningly important, because Ukraine functions as the corrupt money laundry operation for DC politicians to receive taxpayer kickbacks from their financial support into Ukraine.

As to how the kickbacks and money-laundering work, Larry Lambert put it in a nutshell, also a couple of years ago:

The Biden regime gives Ukraine $80 billion in tax dollars. Ukraine invests in FTX crypto exchange. FTX owner Sam Bankman-Fried gives $40 million back to the Democrats’ campaigns for the 2022 midterms. A week later FTX goes bust, scamming clients out of $36 billion.

The mainstream media ignores it.

I doubt very much whether $40 million was the only amount funneled back to Washington D.C.  I'm sure you can add a couple of zeroes to that figure, at least.  (And have you noticed how many of the criminal charges against Sam Bankman-Fried have been quietly watered down or dismissed, and largely ignored by the mainstream media?  Ever wondered why that should be so?  Wonder no more.  He knows too much, and if he has any sense (which, after the example of Jeffery Epstein's controversial demise, I'm sure he does), he's made sure he's got a "Pearl Harbor file" securely stashed where others can't get to it.  If need be, they know he'll release it.  What other explanation can there be?  If you can think of one, I'll be delighted to hear it.)

Other kickback channels are more covert, but nevertheless very active.  Israel receives billions of dollars every year in military aid - most of which, by US law, can only be spent in the USA on US-made weapons systems and components.  That benefits military contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and many others.  Those companies, in turn, contribute to the "re-election expenses" of many Congressional representatives and Senators.  The money they make from orders for their products from Israel (and from Ukraine and elsewhere, many funded by US "aid") is what fuels their political contributions.  Make sense now?

As for authorizing one and a half million more alien migrants each year . . . that's too sickening for words, but the Uniparty doesn't care.  The Democratic and Republican parties work together to set the legislative agenda, and even though they might disagree on some aspects of governing the country, they are substantially in agreement about preserving their power and the flow of money it generates.  They work together to achieve that.  Sundance outlined their structure, and their cooperation with each other, a couple of years ago.  If you missed that article, go read it now.  I believe it's true.  As evidence, I offer the "bipartisan" Senate agreement.  Two parties, one corrupt agenda - at your and my expense.

I'll let the late, great H. L. Mencken sum it up.

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

Each party steals so many articles of faith from the other, and the candidates spend so much time making each other's speeches, that by the time election day is past there is nothing much to do save turn the sitting rascals out and let a new gang in.

The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out ... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.

People do not expect to find chastity in a whorehouse. Why, then, do they expect to find honesty and humanity in government, a congeries of institutions whose modus operandi consists of lying, cheating, stealing, and if need be, murdering those who resist?

When somebody says it’s not about the money, it’s about the money.
