The idle musings of a former military man, former computer geek, medically retired pastor and now full-time writer. my last dog Slim used to do the same thing with snow. used to have to drag his half frozen butt in the house to warm up. he flop in front of the wood stove and get warm again. only to want out to play in the snow. and he used to "fight " the snow blower too. attack the stream of snow coming out the chute. miss that silly big old dog. he was a roadie ridgeback. all 110 pounds of silly at times. dave in pa.
Some years back, my boss and I had to measure a private residence which was considering adding a covered deck in front of their swimming pool. While we were there, their dog came out and was having a great time. It would chase a bird, then jump into the pool and swim across. And again. And again. My boss told me that dog had to be one of the luckiest dogs alive.
Smiling...
