Yet again, let me point out that with all the manipulation, lying, cheating and deception going on - from both sides of the political aisle - we should not expect a free, fair election in November. Shenanigans will be the order of the day. Do not trust any professional politician (i.e. one who's done nothing else except work in politics since leaving high school or college). If they've grown up in and through that system, they're as untrustworthy as that system. By all means pick one's flavor of politician and vote for them, but don't expect that to change or improve our society. I reckon we could count the moral, ethical, honest, upright politicians in the House or the Senate on the fingers of one hand, two at most.
Remember the acronym TINVOWOOT - There Is No Voting Our Way Out Of This - because you're going to be hearing it a lot between now and then.

People were disappointed that Trump didn't fight the 2020 election results. Has the following 4 years been to really cement the level of the problem? My mother said, following 2020, there may have been some voting irregularities, but there was not cheating. Part of the problem is there are always some irregularities. Things have to get to the point where the cheating is obvious. Mom doesn't talk politics with me anymore because I supported the guy who sent out mean tweets. Mom is in her mid 80's. She says the news isn't believable, but she watches it and is influenced by it.
ReplyDeleteThe point is I'm not sure how many people really know the level of trouble we are in. Will the 2024 election make it obvious? How many people are in denail? Que sera, sera.
"TINVOWOOT"
ReplyDeleteOK! give me some options/alternatives.
No. You will have to work those out for yourself.
DeleteBut first, whatever you decide to do, tell no one.
Find a place and / or time where you can be a positive influence, and be the horseshoe nail.

yeah. after 2020 I had a good idea how bad it was. after 2022. I knew. the left has never given up power without a
ReplyDeletefight. so, it the mean time, I am stocking away whatever I can. I figure either martial law this summer after the illegals cash cards stop working and crime goes thru the roof. then again. these dumb bastards are trying like hell to start ww3 for some reason ?
and then there is also the chance of the dollar falling.
just the thing to keep a person thinking about what might be next.
To Xoph's comment, I think there are a lot of people who just can't bring themselves to believe how far gone we are. If they accept that the election was truly stolen, it would shatter their entire belief system. Many of these people are real patriots. They love America, and can't bring themselves to accept that We the People are no longer in charge. They sort of know it, but they can't bring themselves to say it out loud.
ReplyDeleteDunno. I know we cannot vote our way out. Whether this election is the start of the revolt is yet to be seen.
ReplyDeleteIf the EBT cards fail that would be part of the revolt. If the SSN payments fail and all us old guys get pissed it will be over sooner.
Get your travel done soon as the wheels are wobbling.
OF COURSE the game is rigged! But you either play that game, or prepare for armed conflict. I kinda lean towards doing both, not in search of a forced Takeover, but to evacuate my family out of Harm's Way, as much as possible.
ReplyDeleteWhat Peter said. We are so screwed. Just the average 30% inflation per year for the next decade is going to hose us.
ReplyDeleteEveryone wants to be a moderate and say 'well both sides are liars and cheaters', but it just isn't so on the Presidential level.
ReplyDeleteI, and you?, wouldn't think of voting for someone who we know lied to us. If someone thinks Trump told a single lie, they're just ignorant, and loud&proud about it. I know how that will sound to the emotional people who make up the Left, but for conservatives, something is 'right', 'wrong', or 'no one's business', and Trump knows he'd lose our support if he blantantly lied about something.
>but there was not cheating
But seeing comments like this, on YOUR BLOG, demonstrates just how bad the situation is. Most people are smarter than this, but either they don't seem to care, they want to soothe feelings and get along.
"It will not be over sooner".
ReplyDeleteThere will not be a single decisive revolution, triggered by a specific incident. There will be a seemingly endless series of revolts, each one suppressed by the Government with increasing levels of force.
The most destructive of the rebellions will be internecine warfare between Leftist factions grasping for a shrinking piece of a declining economy. They know full well that "voting" is useless, or more realistically, the system is "one riot, one vote". The factions will do more of what put them in power in the first place. "Leadership" will lose control over what they have summoned up and be forcibly removed by younger and less restrained cadres. The collateral damage from the conflicts will be extensive and deadly.
"Patriots" might best avoid these games altogether and stay out of range of the splatter as much as possible. Protecting immediate family members is the only thing that matters.
The Government will prevail in all of the rebellions - except the last one.
