  1. I don't know why there is such a "big thing" about a new pope. The world doesn't listen or follow his teachings any how........

    1. There is a substantial portion portion of the world that still does, though these days it's primarily in the third world.
The RC church is also one of the few long lived institutions still active.

  3. The most important election the world has seen since The Donald's first election. With a sigh of relief many of the world's Catholics watched as the church turned back to its established principles in 2005 and many again departed after it became apparent after the 2013 conclave that Benedict's election was only a minor curve in the road leftward.
We can only wait and see (and hope).

It would be nice if they choose a Catholic, instead of a Socialist this time.... (sigh)

  5. Cardinal Siccola should be selected but the Catholic church will not tolerate a Pope Siccola, for some reason ...

  6. With respect to our brothers and sisters, as noted elsewhere, if the smoke is black, the mixture is too rich, if it's white it's burning oil. And how do they control the color? Smoke cartridges?
