Sounds about right...
Circulating on social media yesterday, following the progressive left's outrage over Qatar's gift of a tricked-out Boeing 747 to President Trump (well, actually to the nation, but he's the one who'll use it):
Peter, I just learned that the Browning A5 shotgun was used in the Rhodesian bush wars. So my idea is would you post about the various firearms used in that conflict?
I have serious doubts that Trump would even get to use it as AF1. Conversion to VC-25B standards will take at least a couple of years even for companies not named Boeing, and the process couldn't even start until later this year. Trump's likely to out office before it's ready, but who knows?
LOL
ReplyDeleteappears to be the tattered remnants of a Globe Swift
ReplyDeleteThe Globe Swift is much more sexier.
DeleteTut tut! Nothing wrong with a Percival Proctor. It was a widely used aircraft during WW2 and beyond.
ReplyDeleteAdmittedly that one needs a bit TLC but as they say about presents, "it's not the present, it's the thought that counts".

ReplyDeleteI'll think about it. It would be a complicated article, given that Rhodesia used anything that would shoot!
DeleteLMAO!
