And the winner is . . .

. . . "Brings The Lightning"!

Thank you to everyone who voted for BTL in the recent Conservative-Libertarian Fiction Alliance Book Of The Year 2017 contest.  In a press release, CLFA announced:

After a month of voting that was open to the public, the fans have spoken . . .

CLFA is pleased and proud to announce the winner of the 2017 Book of the Year. Congratulations!

The First Place Winner is Peter Grant’s post-civil war western, Brings the Lightning (The Ames Archives Book 1).

There's more at the link.

I'm very grateful for my readers' support.  This is a minor competition, to be sure, but the competition was fierce - to go up against John Ringo and Larry Correia was tough!  Thank you for coming through for me with your support.

I look forward to next year's competition.  May the most popular book win!

Peter

  1. Kudos indeed! I recently finished BTL and I am 50% into RMR. Great books that rank with Louise Lamour's. Peter, you need to curtail frivolous hobbies like eating and sleeping! WRITE FASTER!!

  2. Congratulations Mr. Grant, that is awesome news ! I'm not much of a reader of that genre so don't read westerns much. Last one I recall was by Forrest Carter (the Outlaw Josey Wales ?) and read that only because I enjoyed one of his other books THE EDUCATION OF LITTLE TREE.

  4. Congratulations! One of the better books I've read in the past year. My only complaint? It was too short.
