PLEASE tell me this person will never be licensed to practice medicine???

This report makes my blood boil with anger.

A North Carolina medical student and trans rights activist seemingly bragged on Twitter about intentionally injuring a patient who mocked her for wearing a pronoun pin saying she/her.

Kychelle Del Rosario, a fourth-year student at Wake Forest University's School of Medicine, claimed to have purposefully missed the patient's vein during a blood draw so she would have to jab him twice in a since-deleted tweet.

'I had a patient I was doing a blood draw on see my pronoun pin and loudly laugh to the staff 'She/Her? Well of course it is! What other pronouns even are there? It?' I missed his vein so he had to get stuck twice.' Del Rosario tweeted Tuesday.

The medical school acknowledged online that it was aware of the incident, saying: 'This student's tweet does not reflect how Wake Forest University School of Medicine treats patients and provides patient care. We are taking measures to address this with the student.'

Since the tweet, Del Rosario has scrubbed her social media accounts.

There's more at the link, including a screenshot of the tweet in question.

Del Rosario has clearly either never heard of, or doesn't regard as important, any considerations of moral or ethical norms and standards in health care.  I can only hope he/she/it will never, ever be granted the right to practice in any form of medicine.  What's more, if Wake Forest University allows Del Rosario to continue studying there, the university should be shunned by all right-thinking people.  Do you really want your children studying alongside someone so clearly and disgustingly self-centered and morally degenerate as to act like that?

If I lived nearer to North Carolina, I'd be tempted to offer free horsewhips to anyone who wanted to administer condign correction to this idiot.  As it is, I can only hope that others do so on my behalf.

  1. This goes far beyond the "Advocacy" pushed by so many of these misguided Communists. This is actual Harm. When the push back comes for her, and her fellow travelers, it will be catastrophic. Not just for them, but for our whole civilization. This is how it how it starts. The fact that the school is simply issuing bland talking points, tells you what you need to know. She should have been thrown out and her tuition refunded as soon the tweet was verified.
File this under Instanpundit's "Suicide of Expertise"

  2. So, Ms. Del Rosario wants to follow in the footsteps of Dr. Mengele. Is her next trick, sterilizing perceived White privileged people, without anesthesia of course? Isn't interesting how the loony left is quick to denounce conservatives as NAZIs, while actually acting like the most evil NAZIs.

  3. They'll keep her. She ticks two boxes: poc, and wtf sexual orientation. My hospital actively shops for these candidates. One was so incompetent we kept her in the triage booth so she wouldnt kill a patient. Really. She complained that it was rayciss, and we were forced to give her actual patients. Which meant that whomever shared a hall with her had a double load, just to make sure nothing bad happened. She'd sit on the same patients all night long, just to avoid taking any new ones. She'd disappear for 90 minute lunch breaks. It was awful, and mgt refused to do anything. When the day came that she actually did kill a patient, (just watched them circle the drain and die, refused to do anything) the doctors had a fit, and mgt still refused to sanction her. So we're stuck with the situation.
The other one was a thief; she got promoted to management, and the third announced he was taking a month off to visit family in Nigeria. While our vacation requests are cancelled due to short staffing.

  4. This won't go anywhere. Our illustrious "president's "administration is now ENDORSING sex-change surgery and hormonal treatments for MINORS!

    ...Alas, Babylon...

  5. Another person defended her by saying it was "an accident, not deliberate" and she was a caring blah blah blah. And sure. Accidentally missing the vein happens all the time, doubly so for medical students who are still training. But (as even the defender noted) the juxtaposition of the "accident" with the condemnation of the "bigot" who suffered the "accident" makes for a pretty damning account. Even if it was an accident, it's clear she was celebrating it, and the pain it caused, because she disliked the opinions of her patient. So either way, she's garbage.

  6. Proves the demented tiny minority are truly evil-doers, justifying their brand of lunacy as "righteous", it's nothing but an excuse for their brand of bad behavior.

"Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another."

  7. Looking forward to her commencement speech. They'd have her give the invocation too, if that was still a thing.

  9. Just write a letter to the Dean of Wake Forest University's medical school that you will be avoiding graduates of said university when seeking medical care from now on.

Again write a letter to the university dean stating that you will assume from this point on that all graduates of the medical program are similarly incompetent and, therefor, to be avoided when seeking health care.

  11. I don't see how this is surprising.
Anyone with half a functioning braincell should be well aware by know that 'progressive' is a perfect synonym for 'grotesque sack of monstrous subhuman filth.'

  12. Wake Forest is a fully woke university. Pity, because it used to be a Southern Baptist school. That was back in the good old days. Since Wake renounced that connection, it's been a downward spiral as far as morals and such.
