One home makeover show had a carpenter run the stud finder over himself after identifying it. The wife half of the home owners just looked at him and he said "Sorry, old carpenter's joke". She was going easy on him, as she could have said "It didn't beep".
After seeing the snow total in California, I wonder if the "deer hunter" cabin is in a snow belt area.

Since I was intrigues, I had to find out about the cabin. Here is a video of them being built. They are in the Boreal Forest in Norway.
