Stand by for squalls

In nautical weather terminology, a "squall" is defined as "a sudden, sharp increase in wind speed lasting minutes, as opposed to a wind gust, which lasts for only seconds ... Usually, this sudden violent wind is associated with briefly heavy precipitation ... squall line is an organized line of thunderstorms".  It's generally considered hazardous, and has been known to damage or even sink ships.

I fear that, given the unknown number (but certainly in the thousands) of unvetted, un-background-checked Palestinians and others of Middle Eastern origin that the Biden administration has admitted to our country over the past three years, we may be in for squalls of terrorist origin within our borders.  Don't forget, Hamas and Hezbollah have been active in Mexico and other South American countries for years, and have established working relationships with Mexican cartels.  There's no reason in the world why they shouldn't have taken advantage of those facts to sneak their terrorists into the USA;  in fact, given their outlook on life, the universe and everything, they'd be criminally negligent in their own eyes if they haven't already done so.

Those crossings are given further weight by the US Border Patrol's own figures.

The Border Patrol apprehended 11 illegal border crossers who were on the [terrorist] watchlist during the four years of the previous administration. That number rose to 15 in fiscal 2021, which was the first fiscal year of the current administration. It reached 98 in 2022, and it has reached 80 already in the first months of fiscal 2023.

There's more at the link.

That report was published in April this year, by which time the Border Patrol had detected 193 potential terrorists among border crossers since the Biden administration took office (as compared to a mere 11 during the previous administration).  How many more since then?  And how many more did they fail to detect, who successfully entered the USA?  That number could be several times as large, for all we know.  500?  1,000?  It's anybody's guess.  My personal SWAG, informed by my own experience of terrorism (see the previous article), is that it could well be into four figures by now.

What this means is that there are almost certainly multiple terrorist cells already inside this country, and by now they'll be armed and equipped to do their job.  They didn't have to smuggle weapons or explosives into the USA;  there are enough already here, and sympathizers enough to buy them (legally or illegally) or steal them, and make them available to terrorists.  What's more, many of those sympathizers will by now have been trained by the terrorists to be as effective as they are.  We have, in so many words, what World War II propaganda termed a "Fifth Column" already inside the USA, ready, willing and able to commit terrorist acts against us and our country.

If things continue to go to hell in a handbasket in the Middle East, and the current conflict between Israel and Hamas widens, I fully expect that fifth column to go into action.  That means all of us need to exercise greater care and attention, be more aware of potential threats, and upgrade our and our families' personal security - facilities, equipment, habits and mindset - as far as possible.  I'm not saying we need to become paranoid;  but we certainly need to consider where we live, who lives among and around us, and what potential trouble spots might be seen by terrorists as "soft targets".  The latter is easily determined by looking at where they've struck in the past.  Nightclubs, shopping malls, street festivals, mass sports events - all are potential targets with relatively low security that's not hard for a trained person to bypass.  We go there at our own risk.

I strongly suggest we all plan and conduct ourselves accordingly.

  1. Well I certainly hope that the fbi was at the Palestinian rally yesterday. All those people for certain that Israel started this. Along they wanted them wiped off the earth. Sound a bit more violent than the people at Mass.

  2. Extremely true, we might have a couple more weeks of peace and quiet, but as things in the middle east escalate...
I've read one report there may be a false-flag attack on our carrier group, claim it was Iran, and we go all in on Iran (been after it for years!).
If there are Iranians here (and there are), they could wreak serious havoc inside the country.
Top up your food stuffs, get another case of ammo, I need to buy optics for 2 of my rifles, times short gentlemen. Load your mags....

  3. Excellent post...we must stay vigilant...more now than ever before, especially considering The Feckless Treasonous Administration has given the same amount of attention to Palestine (in retaliatory comment and action) as it has for East Palestine (OH)...next to nothing. The Left's semi-hidden agenda is becoming more clear as events unfold. (BTW, heard much on Maui lately, and all those dead citizens? Me neither.)

  5. I'm kind of surprised we haven't had many muzzie terror incidents lately. Only a handful and nothing spectacular. I expect that will change soon. And the left WANTS terror. It would give them the excuse to do a bunch of evil things they'd have a tough time justifying otherwise. I bet they have a long list of Executive Orders already typed out just waiting for Pedo Joe to sign...if they can keep him coherent. All need is an excuse? A bunch of towelheads running amok would be the perfect one.

  6. Glasslass, of course the FBI was there, but their bosses probably didn't even make them take leave.

  7. Absolutely, carry heavy and stay away from crowds. Shop at off hours, don't drive through big cities. Here in SE MI the city of Dearborn is run by and mostly populated by Muslims. Fortunately AR pistols come under the concealed carry law so it is possible to be suitably armed. Long guns cannot be kept loaded in a vehicle. As always avoid is one hundred times better than fight as long as you have a choice.

  9. AS Ol' Remus used to say, "Stay away from crowds..."

  11. The Border Patrol never even sees nor has any knowledge of 99.8% of those crossing the southern border, since ever, based purely on five years of direct, first-hand, daily observation of their universal and global incompetence at their sole job.

We handed over crossers to them weekly, by the dozens, once they trespassed onto private land, which CBP never even knew nor suspected had crossed, which amounted to a thousand or more persons annually, from but one single narrow stretch a few miles across, just on the days we were present. And a non-zero number of them, looking more Middle Eastern than Latino, were subsequently reported to us as "never existed" when we inquired about their disposition.

No wild idea how many got through on days neither we nor CBP was present.

Crossings occurred in our area roughly 1095 times/year (3x/day x 365 days), until the Corps of Engineers finally built a 20' fence 10 miles long, following a presidential directive, after only 25 years of deliberate ignorance of the problem.

Take any number they generate from their nethers about how many people crossed or how many they missed, and move the decimal point three to four more places to the right, at minimum, for a far more accurate appraisal of any situation where they're giving number of crossers.

We were regularly recovering prayer rugs, Korans, and airline boarding passes from points of origin ranged from Algeria to Pakistan and landings in Mexico City and Tijuana, amidst discarded trash in group lay-ups in the brush, and this was a bare few years after 9/11.

CBP is the second-most incompetent federal law enforcement agency in existence, trailing only the TSA for sheer incompetence. With the TSA, it's lack of basic ability from a horde of Diversity hires. With CBP, it's by design, from the top down. The 1/3rd of field agents actually trying to do a good job are thwarted by their supervisors and senior management, on purpose, and following orders.

Now imagine how big the actual threat to the U.S. is, knowing that the only thing keeping Muslim terrorists out of the U.S. isn't U.S. (imaginary) border enforcement, but rather the cartels' desire not to have a blowtorch of official interest pointed right at their own faces.

  12. The point of a fifth column is that there are already four columns of conventional troops coming at you. In other words, one should expect this to kick off as part of a wider strategy.

  13. I'm sure the fbi will get right on this. LMAO. Prepare for, yourselves people.

  14. With all due respect, yes I am pretty sure that the FBI was at that rally. But their role was to be part of the rally and to protect those who would commit terrorist acts in our country. The admission of terrorists in the process of the ongoing invasion of our country over the last few years is something we would obviously expect since 9/11. The fact that there has been no effort to deal with that problem and that risk means that it is not an oversight, but rather policy.

Think how convenient it would be to those in power now if the 2024 elections had to be "postponed" due to a terrorist threat.

  15. Not sure about FBI covering the "Kill Isreal!" Rallys, since that crowd isn't known for supporting Trump. Recall all the "mass shooting" style "gun violence" we had during Bush ll's admin.? San Berdoo, the gay club shooter in Fla., etc?funny how all the perps were of middle-Eastern extraction, all denied by the Gummint of COURSE, but it made my spider sense tingle....and all of those entered the country legally.... but with all the illegal traffic of Xiden's regime, we'd be fools not to acknowledge the risk...
