I was reminded of this (in)famous Shop At Home advertisement during a conversation with a friend recently. It happened the best part of two decades ago, as I recall, but it's still funny (to the audience, at any rate - the presenter might disagree).
That'll teach them not to make cutting remarks about their competitors . . .

ReplyDeleteI have one of those, pretty much identical to the one displayed except mine has not snapped yet. That's because I bought it as a pretty wall hanger, not as a functioning blade. Cheap steel and even cheaper furniture, but from across the room it looks presentable. Probably about as sharp as a kitchen drawer butter knife.
