Big Country Expat describes his experience dealing with official relief efforts in Florida after the passage of Hurricane Milton. To put it mildly, he's not pleased with them. Emphasis in original.
This was, in ALL my previous experience(s) as VAST and VARIED as they are across the board, this was BY FAR the most inefficient, inept, incapable and utterly inadequate operation that I have ever had the (dis)pleasure of witnessing in action.
Whomever was in charge of this particular “Jug ****” should be stripped of their job, their pension, their retirement, and then tarred and feathered, if not optimally ridden out of town on a particularly sharp and splintery rail.
Their relatives and children should be publically shamed for that matter. They should be afraid to show their faces in public… drive them from the community at large as an example to others who would be this worthless. To those who’d say that’s cruel?
Nope.
It’s a preventative.
Those ****ing kids carry one half of that “Stupid DNA” and therefore they should be sterilized proactively as to prevent any more urination in our collective gene pool so to speak.
At the barest minimum, they should utterly be publically humiliated, scorned, and/or Horsewhipped plus beaten for good measure as an example for Future ****tardery as a warning against such things. Put them ****er(s) in the stocks and let them be pelted with rotten fruit and/or animal viscera.
Preferably skunk.

I went and read the whole thing.. and am left a bit speechless. What he saw needed to be commented on and good on him in lighting a fire under the mess to get it moving forward.
ReplyDeleteHowever!! Dear God!!! that man is an issue all on his own. Not someone I would turn my back on much less let have my back. In his own self described way, he was flat out inciting to violence people in a crowd that was tense and unhappy already and he was taking glee in it.
Even the stuff his antic's got moving forward, all I could takeaway was he was just having a great fun day stirring the pot for his personal fun. I'm appalled by our government and him in this story.
I saw some GA Air Guard that were activated and state workers/contractors but very few. It was locals helping each other for the most part except for the linemen that came from all over,
ReplyDeleteLumber should be cheaper. The sawmills have cut what they are paying for timber to record lows.
I have to agree with the one commenter over there who hopes that the villain of the story comes to the attention of Our Glorious Governor. DeSantis has no tolerance for that shite.
ReplyDeleteGood link but terribly understated
ReplyDeleteMilitary eloquence, used most effectively. That's the kind of ridicule these clueless bureaucrats need. (Along with a few of the other things he suggested.)
ReplyDeleteGoatroper
BTDTGTTS.
ReplyDeleteNothing's changed in 30 years.
FEMA should be disbanded, alongside DHS, the TSA, the FBI, and BATFE, followed by the entire Dept. of Education. That should the first afternoon after the Inauguration.
Pink-slip the entire lot, en masse.
The savings annually would be enormous, and the lack of anyone, anywhere, missing them a whit would be thunderous.
