Another funny advertisement
Yes, I know that lotteries are generally (and justifiably) referred to as a form of 'stupid tax', but this advertisement for the Georgia Lottery had me laughing out loud.
My sister gives out scratch-off tickets as stocking stuffers at Christmastime. One of my other sisters won $500 on one of them a couple of years ago, and every year someone wins at least a few dollars here and there. The whole family enjoys it.
Yeah, I know. The odds are long that you are going to hit the big one and it's definitely not a good retirement plan. Still - it's just a buck.

The ads have to be juvenile because they must appeal to the people who actually believe they are the ONE in 5 million.
Fairy Tales!
+1 on Toejam, and yeah pretty cute commercial! :-)
Washington State commercial gave the usual disclaimer, "Odds of winning, one in 3,500,000. Considerable higher if you don't buy a ticket".
Geeze guys, lighten up. It's just a buck.
