And possibly win, because the reading age of the sign was beyond their personal reading age.... ? Almost impossible to make this sort of thing sufficiently moron proof...
Probably wouldn't help, but it's amusing.
It's been my observation that most people don't read signs. I suspect it's that "reading" part that causes some of the problem. Another component is a total lack of situational awareness in many, if not most, people. They just don't notice much of anything in their world. The sign doesn't exist to them. And then there are those who deliberately ignore any input from the rest of humanity, for various reasons.
Every attempt to make ANYthing moron-proof is fore-doomed to (ultimate) failure - every time you try, a "better" moron comes along, and...
Doesn't mean you shouldn't try - just means you shouldn't get overly-upset when your best efforts fail.
