Quote of the day
From SNAFU Solomon, talking about the latest bad news concerning the F-35's problems:
I won't say he lied, but I do think he twisted the facts so hard that it would take a battalion of chiropractors to straighten things out.
I read the link. Then I read the report (very long) imbedded in the link. Since all of the F-35's systems are integrated, it is a wonder that the damn thing flies at all. I'll take a 737 Max any day over the F-35.
One farmer to another about the new neighbor: I wouldn't call him a liar, but when he wants his cows to come in from pasture, he's got to get someone else to call them. From an old "Burt and I" recording.

Tip of the iceberg... And only going to get worse. Look at maintenance costs/flight hour! Horrendous!
I thought Col. Boyd put an end to this kind of thinking several decades ago.
OODA anyone?
The perfumed princes at the Pentagon never learn... A platinum-plated turd is still a turd....
