2020 was an "annus horribilis" for most of us. Here's hoping 2021 will be better - or at least more bearable. That's debatable, looking at the divisions in our society today, but we can at least "hope against hope".
My earnest prayer is that we learn to talk to each other again, and this time to listen carefully rather than block out voices we don't want to hear. The latter leads to chaos, anarchy and civil disorder. We've had enough of that already, and unless the situation changes, we're in for a lot more of it in 2021. Oh, well. Here's hoping.
