That's the opinion of Neil Oliver, whom we've met in these pages on many occasions. He offers some cogent arguments in support of his thesis.
I highly recommend taking the time to watch and listen to his comments. Food for thought.

Disclaimer, I grew up in the shadow of Chicago... So, I was a bit confused by this, I thought it was just the way things were with "Tha Machine" and organized crime having "significant overlap" in membership and goals. But at this point they have stopped even trying to hide it because it's not like there is a "free press" that might dare call them out on it...
Cederq posted this too, so I'm going to duplicate my comment here too:
Thanks for posting and embedding the video link. Neil is always worth a listen. I have to turn it up fairly loud to make out some of his diction because his (gorgeous) accent is a bit hard for my ears, but he is deliberate and precise in his choice of words.
He mentions Jim Webb’s book on the Scots-Irish history, both in Europe and here in the USA, but he didn’t mention the title: Born Fighting: How the Scots-Irish Shaped America. One of the best histories of our country I’ve ever read; well documented, and giving me a side of “The war between the States” that I had not read before. It explains the why and how a lot of my redneck roots came about.
No surprise over here... sigh
