Let us remember, with solemnity and honor, those who died on 9/11/2001, and all those who have fallen in the War on Terror since that time.
I can think of no better piece of music to commemorate them than Allegri's Miserere (Psalm 51). For those who'd like to know more about it, I wrote about it in some detail a couple of years ago. Let this hymn be our prayer for the souls of the dead, and for ourselves as we remember them.

Thanks Peter.
Nice,
But may I propose another piece of music that I think works?
Coopland's Fanfare For The Common Man.
(NOT the ELP version)
