Rice paddies as art?
The Daily Mail has published two articles showing rice paddies in a whole new light, so to speak.
The first depicts Japanese rice paddies bedecked with thousands of pink LED's. Here's one image from the article.
The second shows Chinese rice paddies reflecting the sunlight at various times of the day. The photographer climbed a local peak and stayed up there for hours to record the images. Again, here's just one of the photographs she took.
There are many more (and much larger) images at each link. Interesting and recommended viewing.
