A wordless romance
Disney released their short animated movie 'Paperman' last year, and it's in contention for this year's Oscars. I think it's got a pretty good chance. See for yourself. I recommend watching it in full-screen mode.
I loved this when I saw it here a few days ago and was please to see it win best animated short film (I think) on the Oscars tonight. It was the only thing on the show tonight that I had seen.

As my oldest child told me after watching this, "If you don't tear up when you see this, YOU DON'T HAVE A SOUL!"
I totally agree with her.
Pure Disney. Awesome!
Yes, o.k. - incredibly cutesy, and all that...
But -
What's wrong with that, anyway?
This is what people like Disney do - or, at least, like what they used to do - better than...anything.
What they should do more of.
So people can have more things that - make them feel good about being...you know...human...even as screwed-up as things so often are.
And about sometimes - despite everything that goes wrong, or tries to go wrong, or tries to defeat them - getting at least a small "win"...
Very nice - thank you.
