Driving around New York City in the 1920's


Following yesterday's video of Manhattan, I thought you might enjoy this one embodying several clips from silent comedy movies of the 1920's.  They're funny, sure, but they also show New York in its good (?) old days.

Now I understand why there are traffic lights about every two to three blocks apart in Manhattan.

Peter, I emailed a link to a SF traffic film shot a few days before the 1906 earthquake.
