Ed Rasimus was buried today
Fellow blogger, decorated US Air Force pilot and Vietnam veteran Ed Rasimus was buried at Arlington Military Cemetery today, with full military honors, of course. Regular readers will recall that we commemorated his passing in January.
Murphy's Law attended the funeral, and has an excellent report about it on his blog, complete with photographs. He also embeds a 1960's video report that has footage of a young Lieutenant Rasimus after completing 100 missions over North Vietnam in an F-105 Thunderchief. (I can remember being that young and enthusiastic once . . . and thinking I was bulletproof, too! I learned otherwise, as did Major Rasimus.) Anyway, go read all about it.
I'm sorry Ed's no longer with us; but his spirit lives on. May we remember him with all honor.
Peter
