So you think it's been cold recently?
Let this footage from the US station at McMurdo Sound in Antarctica disabuse you of that notion.
Tell me again what critical government function they are performing that is worth the millions we spend supporting it. Don't we already have a lifetime supply of ice core samples and pictures of penguins?
I don't live in Antarctica; I live in Ohio next to the Michigan line. I don't care how cold it is in Antarctica. What I care about is staying warm in Ohio.
