Scott Adams has an almost uncanny ability to skewer self-importance and braggadocio in his cartoons. He's also an interesting blogger, and worth reading. Recommended.

Dilbert was the unofficial comic strip for Ohio DOT while was there in the 90s. It was almost as though he was writing about ODOT in nearly ever strip.
That was the time period in which Dogbert was running for Prez and he promised that under his administration only idiots would be pay taxes.
