- The farmer next door offers to run his harvester through them.
- Your spouse offers you shampoo to use on them.
- Every time you shake your head, the hairs in your ear shiver and scare the bats into flight.

You know it is well past time to clean your ears when you find out someone puts a wick in them when you sleep.
Sorry, best I can do.
I occasionally do a full ear irrigation and rinse. What comes out is both disgusting and amazing. Then I have to go turn down the volume on everything.
