Building implosion, Las Vegas style
I have to admit, this is a stylish way to bring down a building!
I thought the plunger at the end of the countdown was a nice touch.

I'm glad to see it finally went down. I'd hate to see all the theatrics, only to discover that somebody screwed up and the building didn't go down as planned.
Very cute, but I think it's a little reckless promoting a building demolition as public entertainment. There are too many things that can go wrong.
Here in Australia, there was one in Canberra a few years back which they promoted as a spectacle, and even set up designated viewing areas. But a few bricks were thrown out of the demolition, and landed right in a designated viewing area. One hit a little girl in the head and killed her.

Ah yes, the Frontier. Stayed there, and at the Stardust many times over the years. The new places just don't seem to have the same feel to me....

Whatever else you say about it, it's Las Vegas style. Maybe not class, but definitely style, and lots of it.

Style is right... I'm wondering when the administration is going to step in and take over Vegas, they are the ONLY ones making money today... sigh...
