Given the likely temperatures, one might advise the wearing of underwear irrespective of the wind speed - but that's probably un-Scottish of me, or something like that.

A kilt... you could get kilt in it in that sort of weather. Or something valuable could just drop of and I'm not talking about at sporran.

There is a story about a young UK man consulting his veteran uncle about joining the army. Uncle's advice was
