The What is usually easy. It's the How that tends to gum up the works.
Thing is, the means employed will not accomplish the objective. If all you have is money, you are dependent on the people whose goods and services you purchase with that money.
The amount of money you need to be truly independent is however much you need to develop the skills to become a stone-age hunter-gatherer and then one day sneak off into one of the big national parks out west.
