Not just a mandatory tip, but not the amounts: 30, 35, 50.
I agree with Eric - custom tip $0 and never go there again.

Custom tip to round up to the nearest dollar (I like round numbers) and never go there again.

I will tip between 20-25% for full service (over 25% in certain circumstances), and about 15% at a buffet where they refill your drink.

Counter service/I have to refill my own drink? Not unless I have some kind of super fancy or complicated order going--and there's not a snowball's chance in Hell that I'll tip 30%, much less 50%.

Sounds like a place I'd more than likely never enter, but if I did I'd do the same.
Those numbers remind me of the fees and taxes on my electric bill...

Slight variation, custom tip $.01 . This is an old trick showing that a) Yes I tipped (the intentional tiny tip shows this) and b) you have thoroughly pissed me off. Also C it basically gets eaten by Visa/Mastercard/Whatever fees.

The thing that really galls me is folks doing crap like this for take out/pick up. A gratuity is given to servers, who, in many states, have a lower minimum wage, as a token of appreciation for their service. And Yes, traditional is 15% in US with 20% for exceptional service or for a large party.
