Sunday morning music

Here's something different for a change.  Harpist Emily Hopkins has updated the classical harp with electronic "enhancements" to produce an instrument capable of far more than its earliest users, millennia ago, would have believed possible.

Here she describes how she added some of those enhancements to her pedal harp.

Here are a few of her pieces, in no particular order.

You'll find more of her work on her YouTube channel, and on her Web site.

Yes I am a southern redneck but when a college teacher cultured us I started liking classical music and when ever I hear any I think back to that playing of Pachelbels cannon in D

Personally I don't find this electronic augmentation of the harp appealing to my ear.

Another Electric harpist is Andreas VollenWeider https://www.vollenweider.com/

I started listening to him in the early 1980's
