A Pakistani F-16 has some fun

Here's an early-model F-16B (two-seater) Block 15 of the Pakistani Air Force, preparing for an air show.  From brakes off to 15,000 feet takes only 45 seconds.  For a change, the music track's not bad, either.  Watch it in full-screen mode for best results.

That looked like fun.  I'd have liked to have been along for the ride.

Whee! Again, again!

Why we should all have one. Proceeding geekishly, I timed the actual climb part of the clip at about 15 seconds, corresponding to a climb rate of 1,000 feet per second, and in line with the low altitude speed limit, set by friction heat softening the canopy.
