Sunday morning music

Let's relax with a little easy listening.  Here's one of my long-time favorite singers, Roger Whittaker.

Roger Whittaker isn't just a good singer; he's always been known as one of the best whistlers in the business. Here's a live rendition of 'Mexican Whistler'.

Easy on the ear, isn't he?

Hadn't heard him in a long time. I didn't know he grew up in Kenya.

You and he will have to get together over a few pints of Castle or Tusker.

And yes, what a voice.

Everyone I knew mocked him.

He has an amazing voice and when I closed my eyes I could see the

yeah, I left that blank. He gave mental imagery new playgrounds with every song.

Nice. Peter, have you heard Jesse Winchester? You might like his music if you don't know it. from the 70's and 80's

Took Dad to a Roger Whittaker concert years ago.
Roger held "Last Farewell" for the encore.
He dedicated it to "all those who've left loved ones behind to serve their country."
My father did NOT cry. There was something in the A/C ducts 'cause most of the audience needed hankies.
