I do enjoy this type of meme, and whole-heartedly agree with the point. It does offend my inner nit-picker, though. That's a Beretta ( or clone ) not a Glock.
Due mainly to a clueless by intention media Glock is fast becoming the same generic term that Coke is for southerners. And in much the same way AR-15 represents all evil black rifles whether born from the mind of Stoner or Kalashnikov. And much as the desire is to school them, the correct response truly should be "you have demonstrated a complete ignorance of the subject in question so further discussion is pointless until you do the necessary research to educate yourself."
My wife had her S&W .38 snub nose and made three illegals(most probably) piss their pants. She knew how to use that revolver. But she said she was still very scared at the time. This was in Northern New Mexico many moons ago. She had bought it for protection, carried it everywhere, and we were both glad she did.
Me? I had a lever-action 30-30 in the back window of my pickup. In those days you could actually do that. Plus a .357 in the glove box. No, not loaded with wife's .38 ammo.
As a massive fan of Burn Notice, I assure you that no speculation is necessary as to the identity of the fine lady on the right. Her solutions to most problems involve shooting the problem until it goes away, or blowing it up. This was frequently shown to be an effective solution.
I seem to remember reading someplace, that a rapist isn't really doing it for the sex, but for the control of the victim, which I guess is why so many elderly women are raped by home invaders, and care givers. Just peeing her pants, will give him the feeling of really being in control of her. By all means punctucate her "No!" with some .38, .357, 9mm, .45acp, 10mm. .40.
