True, on and for both sides of the political aisle. As far as I'm concerned, any professional politician should be assumed to be lying until proven otherwise.
Dr. Sowell and Dr. Walter Williams were my two choices to be the first black President. They were too smart to put up with the rectal exam a black conservative would get....
The problem is that it is technically true. They take the inflation rate when Reagan took office and blame it on him rather than Carter. I know (or have known) plenty of people who bought that line.

Watching the 10 o'clock news last night the subject was the announced inflation rate. The comment was "This is almost as bad as the Reagan years."
