A very cute pet project
Building a cat tree . . . with help from the cats.

I'm interested in the base. How is it kept upright?
I suspect that the rope surface is less likely to be a flea haven than a carpeted surface would. Carpet is too close to a fur/hair environment, which makes it a near perfect flea habitat.
I wonder how it would look with different sizes of line used, and possibly different colors also.
