Sunday morning music

Let's go back to classical music, with this performance of an orchestral suite from the opera "Naïs" by French composer Jean-Philippe Rameau (1683-1764).

Very pleasant listening from the mid- to late Baroque era.

Wow!

DO you have a name for an album with this piece?

There's a 1980 recording of the opera:

I'm not sure about the orchestral suite, but you can download it from YouTube, of course, and convert it to music rather than video format.

It's amazing how sophisticated the music of the 17th and 18th century period was, considering that particular period of time is often looked upon as being "socially and politically primitive compared to the 20th and 21st centuries".
