I was reminded of an old XKCD comic by a post on MeWe yesterday. With all the current kerfuffle over Israel, Gaza and what have you, it seemed particularly appropriate. Click the image to be taken to a larger version at the strip's Web page.
I don't care whose side you're on in the Middle East dispute, I think we can all agree that's funny!

It is funny, and glad to see we (your readers!) can laugh at it.
Sadly, this is emblematic of the issue's we're all facing. Everything is so polarizing today, and the flames are fanned by the media at every turn...
We'll never find common ground when things are so diametrically opposite. You can't even TALK about issues anymore. There will be no peace.
You could also say Indian Territory, which is was for many years.
Jonathan
You mean the Indian Territories?
I will now forever refer to Oklahoma as Occupied Northern Texas.
Thanks.
Wouldn't that at least theoretically stretch all the way into Wyoming?
Jonathan
Oklahoma is more like far NE Texas, also known as "Meth Texas".
Everything, everywhere is occupied something.
